DIDDLEY'S ROCKING SEND OFF

Music legend BO DIDDLEY has been laid to rest in Florida with hundreds of family and friends all singing, dancing and paying tribute to the late star.

The singer died of heart failure on Monday (02Jun08) following a recent stroke and heart attack. He was 79.

And on Saturday (06Jun08), Diddley's family and friends gathered at his funeral.

A gospel band played his music as mourners clapped and chanted his hit song Hey, Bo Diddley.

Stars including George Thorogood, Tom Petty and Jerry Lee Lewis all sent flowers to mark the occasion.
