JAZZ PERFORMER BURNAP DIES

Jazz performer CAMPBELL BURNAP has died from cancer at the age of 68.

The trombonist and radio presenter, dubbed Mr Charm, performed alongside Acker Bilk during his career.

He also brought jazz to the masses through a BBC radio show, performing the hits of Louis Armstrong and Bix Beiderbecke.

No further details of Burnap's death are available as WENN goes to press.
