IS DANNII'S DREAM DATE WITH RACE ACE A BLOW OUT?

Pop star DANNII MINOGUE's dream date with Monaco Grand Prix race ace LEWIS HAMILTON appears to have hit the pit lane - thanks to a Caribbean beauty queen.

Brit Lewis has reportedly been chasing the Aussie singer for a date since the beginning of the year (08) and a flattered Minogue agreed to let him wine and dine her in Monaco.

But the couple's much-anticipated hot date seemed to have stalled on Sunday (25May08) when reigning Miss Grenada, Vivian Burkhardt, was spotted at the racing driver's side throughout the weekend's (24-25May08) Grand Prix action and previously at the Cannes International Film Festival.

Minogue was due to rendezvous with Hamilton after the Grand Prix - a date arranged when the pair met briefly at the Melbourne Grand Prix in Australia in March (08).

The driver is rumoured to have inundated the pop star, who was once engaged to Canadian Formula 1 driver Jacques Villeneuve, with date requests after their first meeting.

The speedy hunk has also been romantically linked to Naomi Campbell and Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger.
