DIAMOND SCORES A GEM AS ALBUM DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE IN U.S.
NEIL DIAMOND has scored his first number one album in America.

The Sweet Caroline hitmaker's new release, Home Before Dark, has debuted at the top, claiming the biggest debut sales week in the crooner's career. Toby Keith's hits album, 35 Biggest Hits, debuted in second place, while last week's number one, Madonna's Hard Candy, fell to three. Former American Idol star Clay Aiken enters the new Billboard chart at four with On My Way Here and Mariah Carey's E=MC2 rounds out the top five.
