JAMES BOND TECHNICIAN STABBED
A technician working on the new JAMES BOND movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE has been seriously injured - after he was stabbed with a steak knife in a domestic dispute.
The 58-year-old was found lying unconscious in a pool of blood on Saturday (03May08) morning. Police say the man had been attacked by a woman in the bedroom of her house in Dornbirn, Austria, before wrestling the knife from her and staggering into the street, where he was later found.
He is currently recovering in hospital.
The incident is the latest in a string of setbacks on the set of the film - just last month (Apr08) a stuntman was seriously injured and the superspy's iconic Aston Martin had to be fished from Lake Garda, Italy, after it skidded off a narrow road.
