THORNTON'S SON IS ALLEGED VICTIM OF UNLAWFUL SEX
Actor BILLY BOB THORNTON's teenage son is at the centre of a criminal investigation - after allegedly having sex with a woman eight years his senior.
Fourteen-year-old Willie Thornton's alleged sexual relationship with a 22-year-old woman ended when her ex-lover reported them both to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A police source tells TMZ.com the department has launched an "active investigation" into the crime of "unlawful sex".
The website reports that both Willie and his father are cooperating with the police.
