RADIOHEAD VOW 'NO MORE FREE MUSIC'

British rockers RADIOHEAD have vowed not to give away any more of their music for free - after they allowed fans to name their price for online album IN RAINBOWS.

THOM YORKE of Radiohead

The Creep hitmakers sparked controversy when they released their latest album as a download only LP last year (07), giving music lovers the chance to name their own price for the recording.

The move was seen as revolutionary within the music industry but the band insist that despite the success of the scheme, they won't be doing it again.

Frontman Thom Yorke says, "I think it was a one-off response to a particular situation.

"Yes. It was a one-off in terms of a story. It was one of those things where we were in the position of everyone asking us what we were going to do. I don't think it would have the same significance now anyway, if we chose to give something away again. It was a moment in time."
