DEMI UPSET BY RECENT IDOL ELIMINATION

Former AMERICAN IDOL contestant MICHAEL JOHNS was stunned to discovered actress DEMI MOORE is one of his biggest fans.

The Australian singer met Moore at a recent party in New York when the actress approached him, distraught about his elimination from the hit reality show.

Johns recalls, "I went over to talk to (Moore's daughter) Rumer (Willis) and then I felt these arms come behind me and hug me.

"Rumer goes, 'Oh, Mom!' I was like, 'If I turn around and that's Demi Moore, I'm going to freak out,' and it was.

"She could not have been more awesome and sweet. She was just like, 'This is awful. You should never have been voted off. I can't believe this happened.' (She was) really passionate."
