FERRY DESPERATE FOR BOND ROLE

ROXY MUSIC star BRYAN FERRY is considering swapping music for acting - and is hoping to make his screen debut playing JAMES BOND's nemesis.

The singer is desperate to land a role in the 007 film franchise opposite Daniel Craig - but only if he is offered the role of a bad guy.

Ferry says, "I could maybe play a Bond villain in the future."

And the star is convinced that if Bond producers fail to offer him an acting part, he could always record the film's soundtrack.

He adds, "I'd like to do some music for a Bond movie one day. We're still writing so there's plenty of time."
