RICHARDS: 'SIR MICK'S NO MUSICIAN'

THE ROLLING STONES guitarist KEITH RICHARDS has slammed his bandmate SIR MICK JAGGER's talent as a musician, branding him "not very musical".

The duo, songwriting partners for the past four-and-a-half decades, has co-written many of the band's biggest hits, including (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction and Jumpin' Jack Flash.

But Richards, 64, insists music and melody don't come naturally to Jagger.

He says, "I'll play whatever Mick says he feels like singing that night. I might say, 'You realise, Mick, that you've got five songs in the same key.' But this is a musical thing and Mick is not very musical."

But the rocker concedes there is one area his bandmate excels in: "Mick is very good at being Mick."
