KYLIE DENIES PLANS TO ADOPT AN ABORIGINAL BABY

Australian pop singer KYLIE MINOGUE has ended speculation she plans to adopt a child from her native homeland - branding the reports 'ridiculous'.

The Spinning Around hitmaker denies reports she is about to follow in the footsteps of celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Madonna and adopt a child from overseas.

But the 39-year-old refuses to rule out starting a family of her own.

She says, "I heard that rumour too. I think it came from (British tabloid) News Of The World. No (it's not true). There's so much noise and waffle about me and my future family.

"But, if asked if I'd like to have a family, I say, yes, I would love to someday. We'll see if and how that might happen."
