LATEST: Burlesque star DITA VON TEESE has reportedly settled a lawsuit against a British company she claimed failed to pay her performance fees for two shows in London.

In a lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the star accused the bosses of Erotica Limited of owing her $25,000 (GBP12,500) for two performances at the Erotica trade show in November (07).
Von Teese, real name Heather Sweet, alleged Erotica only paid her half.
But U.S. website TMZ.com is now reporting that company bosses have paid the owed fees and Von Teese subsequently filed papers asking for the suit to be dismissed.
The ROLLING STONES have been granted the right to play in an English seaside town - 44 years after they were banned from ever performing there again.

The town of Blackpool, England, banned the legendary rockers in 1964 after one of their concerts ended in a riot.
Over 50 people were taken to hospital after rowdy fans tore up seats, smashed chandeliers and threw bottles - and local officials vowed the band would never again be allowed to play in the area.
But now the leader of Blackpool council has decided to scrap the order, giving the Gimme Shelter hitmakers leave to return.
Council leader Peter Callow says, "The ban has now been lifted and the group are welcome to play here again."

SUGABABES star AMELLE BERRABAH experienced a 'nervous breakdown' after her younger sister accused her boyfriend of rape.

Freddie Fuller was arrested in January (07) along with several of his friends in relation to the alleged sexual assault of the singer's 20-year-old sibling, Samiya - a claim he strenuously denied.
The 24-year-old was eventually released from the police investigation without charge after Berrabah's sister admitted she must have "dreamt" the whole incident.
And Berrabah admits the affair has scarred her for life.
She says, "I feel like I have had a nervous breakdown. I just shut off like a switch, my whole body. Sometimes I'd have panic attacks. I physically and mentally couldn't handle it. I just wanted to go into a room and never leave. Freddie and me feel like we are the shadow of the people we were.
"It is horrible hearing what people have to say. Hearing your boyfriend being called a rapist is awful. It makes me feel sick, people whispering about us. It has really messed up both of us in the head.
"We're almost scared to go out - the funny looks, people looking down on us for something we hadn't done, for something he hadn't done."
But the singer insists that she has been able to forgive her sibling.
She adds, "To turn around and say, 'I must have been dreaming', I need more than that. She was like my best mate, we'd do everything together. I feel I've lost a piece of me.
"I still love her to bits you know - she is still my sister. I know Freddie doesn't like to hear it."
British singer LEONA LEWIS is to undergo an operation on her throat in a bid to save her voice.

The former X Factor winner is prone to severe bouts of tonsillitis which are threatening to hamper her singing career - so she is now considering surgery in a bid to alleviate the recurrent illness.
Lewis who is in the middle of a massive promotional push in the U.S., has consulted specialists on both sides of the Atlantic to make sure any operation to remove her tonsils will not affect her voice.
A representative for the star has confirmed she is to go under the knife, but insists her music career will not be compromised.
He says, "Leona would like to reassure fans this is a routine operation which will not affect her voice. She has sought specialists' advice for this. If an operation becomes necessary, it would be a routine procedure."
The 22-year-old suffered from the debilitating condition during the X Factor TV contest in 2006. She also fell victim to the illness last year (07) and was forced to take a major break from the recording of her debut album, Spirit, which was released in the U.S. this year (08).

Federline, who has full custody of the former couple's two sons, insists Spears will always be important to him as she is the mother of his children, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, 18 months.
The dancer/rapper also lavishes praise on his ex-girlfriend, Shar Jackson, who is mother to his two other children - Kori Madison, six, and Kaleb Michael Jackson, four.

"The problem is that her face looks bad because of impetigo - it's not a nice thing, but it's not related to drugs. (Amy is) having time off, recording a bit at her home studios, about to go back into the studio properly and working towards her husband's freedom."
Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been incarcerated in a London prison since November (07) on charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

LATEST: The surgeon who operated on Tejano singer EMILIO NAVAIRA is now "optimistic that he will not die", just a day after warning fans to expect the worst. The Grammy Award-winning star is in a critical condition following a tourbus accident in Houston, Texas, which took place on Sunday (23Mar08) morning.
The 45-year-old and his band Rio, who performed in Houston on Saturday (22Mar08) night, were travelling on interstate 610 when their bus collided with two other cars, almost tipping over in the process.
Eight people, including driver Navaira, were taken to the Memorial Hermann Hospital following the incident.
On Tuesday (25Mar08), Dr. Alex Valadka, who performed an operation to remove a blood clot from the singer's brain on Sunday, admitted Navaira may not survive.
But on Wednesday (26Mar08), Dr. Valadka's diagnosis was that Navaira's condition had improved slightly.
Dr. Valadka said, "I feel optimistic that he will not die. He's done about as well as can be expected."
But the surgeon cautioned, "He can still take a turn for the worse."
