TRAGIC FRIDA KAHLO INSPIRES COLDPLAY

One of tragic Mexican artist FRIDA KAHLO's most famous paintings has inspired the title of COLDPLAY's new album.

Frontman Chris Martin has revealed the band's new release will be called Vida La Vida, and will serve as a tribute to Kahlo, who battled polio and lived with the chronic pain of a broken spine for decades.

The Yellow singer says, "She went through a lot of s**t and then she started a big painting in her house that said Viva la Vida (Long Live Life). I just loved the boldness of it.

"Everyone thinks it comes from Ricky Martin (Livin' La Vida Loca), which is fine. I have absolute respect."
