U.S. ROCKERS BE YOUR OWN PET SPARK GIG FOOD FIGHT
U.S. rockers BE YOUR OWN PET sparked a huge food fight at a surprise gig in London - after they pelted their fans with whipped cream.
The Nashville group were performing a free gig at the British capital's Vision Videobar in Dalston when they squirted the dessert at the crowd - who retaliated by throwing more cream back at the group.
The last minute gig was announced on social networking site MySpace to celebrate the release of their second LP Get Awkward.
In an interview with music website NME.COM after the gig, lead singer Jemina Pearl Abegg says, "We've done the food fight two times already, and it's been pretty brutal. Tonight was the most tame though.
"I thought it'd be a cool idea. It was fun the first time!"
