DJ RONSON: 'SURI PARTY REPORTS ARE RIDICULOUS'

Celebrated DJ MARK RONSON has laughed off reports he has been booked to spin records at SURI CRUISE's second birthday party, calling the rumours 'ridiculous'.

Ronson DJ'd at the party after Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding, and he's convinced the media has simply taken the connection between him and the Hollywood couple too far.

He says, "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard... I DJ'd Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding and I guess somebody just thought it would be a funny story to make up.

"Could you imagine the inappropriateness of really loud music at a two-year-old's birthday party? It's just unbelievable."

The superstar DJ-producer admits he'd have to turn the offer down even if Cruise himself approached him: "I haven't been DJing bar-mitzvahs or weddings or birthdays lately."
