GREASE STAR CONAWAY PLANS A SECOND STINT IN CELEBRITY REHAB

Troubled GREASE star JEFF CONAWAY is planning a second stint on hard-hitting U.S. reality show CELEBRITY REHAB, despite quitting the programme days before completing his televised treatment.

The actor - who played Kenickie in the iconic 1978 musical movie - was struggling with severe cocaine, painkiller and alcohol addictions when he signed up to appear with other fallen stars on psychologist Dr. Drew Pinsky's TV experiment.

He quit the programme early when the facility which housed himself and others, like fellow actor Daniel Baldwin, reportedly ran out of the pain medication he needed.

But Conaway isn't opposed to returning to Celebrity Rehab for a planned second season.

He says, "It's not over, I'm gonna go back in."

The actor admits he no longer feels like a suicidal lost cause, thanks to Dr. Pinsky's treatment, and help from former Grease costar John Travolta, who has come to his aid since his rehab stint.

Conaway insists the recent death of his mother made him realise how far he has come: "I miss her a lot, but I didn't go back to using over that."

The fallen star admits he still needs to work on his painkiller addiction - and that's why he'd like to return to Celebrity Rehab.
