Youth is the producer behind British rockers The Verve's 1997 release Urban Hymns and the much-anticipated new Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy.
McCartney's spokesperson refuses to confirm the Youth connection, but states, "Paul started recording last week, but he has been writing for a while. It should be ready by the summer."
