Tragic AC/DC rocker BON SCOTT has been honoured in his native Perth, Australia with a life-size bronze statue.
The memorial was unveiled as part of a tribute rock festival in suburb Claremont on Sunday (24Feb08).
The statue, which features the rocker wielding a microphone, will permanently overlook nearby Fremantle's Fisherman's Wharf area, where the late singer grew up.
Scott died from acute alcohol poisoning in London in 1980.
The statue unveiling marked the second sad memorial for Perth natives this month (Feb08) - another favourite son, Heath Ledger, was remembered with various tributes and a family beach vigil.
