JEAN MICHEL JARRE TO PERFORM OXYGENE LIVE

Legendary musician JEAN MICHEL JARRE is set to perform his seminal album OXYGENE at an historic one-off London gig.

The electronic star will play the 1976 instrumental work on the original instruments heard on the album's recording at the concert at the Royal Albert Hall, including over 50 synthesisers.

Jarre says, "I've composed Oxygene on extraordinary instruments, (as much a) part of electronic music mythology as Stradivarius was for classical music or Fender Telecaster was for rock music.

"I wanted the public to discover those and I am so excited about performing for the fans in London."

The gig is set to take place on 30 March (08).
