BT'S MISSING DAUGHTER FOUND

Dance music star BT is relieved after his young daughter was found after a month-long search operation.

BT - real name Brian Transeau - who has collaborated with artists including Britney Spears and Tori Amos and scored a number of hit Hollywood films, called in the authorities in December (07) after three-year-old Kaia was allegedly snatched by her mother after a scheduled visit.

Police issued an arrest warrant for the child's mother, Ashley Duffy, and launched a major search operation to find them.

The pair were finally discovered on Monday (15Jan08) night and Duffy was arrested on suspicion of out-of-state child abduction from the lawful custodian, according to TMZ.com.

It's believed Duffy took her daughter from Transeau's Maryland hotel room and went on the run. She is now being held at Lynwood Jail in Los Angeles after being refused bail.

After announcing that his daughter had been abducted Transeau issued a heartfelt statement to the public: "I am diligently and delicately working to do everything possible to amend this tragic family situation.

"As a father my only goal is to get my daughter back home in a stable and safe environment. I appreciate your continued support and understanding in this desperate hour."
