CHURCH WEDS IN NORTH CAROLINA

Country singer ERIC CHURCH has wed music publisher KATHERINE BLASINGAME in North Carolina.

The couple married last week (08Jan08) in a private ceremony at the Westglow Spa + Resort in Blowing Rock, and swore all guests to secrecy.

Church announced the happy news in a statement on Tuesday (15Jan08), explaining the location of the nuptials was very important to the newlyweds.

He says, "We just fell in love with the place and we decided that it would be the ideal spot to get married, up in the North Carolina mountains, with just family around us.

"I can't imagine a more perfect spot."

Church used the ceremony to debut a new song, which he wrote for his new wife.
