MINOGUE INSISTS ON TOUR REST DAYS

KYLIE MINOGUE has been forced to cut back on her gruelling tour schedule as she prepares for upcoming dates because her past cancer battle has left her too tired to play night after night.

The pop superstar admits her 2005 and 2006 health crisis, which brought her last tour to a halt, prompted her to take things carefully.

And now the Australian singer has insisted on regular nights off in a bid to make sure she completes her 2008 tour, which begin this spring, and avoids exhaustion.

She says, "The main difference is I do two shows in a row and then have a night off, which pains me because I like to keep going and go with the momentum.

"I used to do three or four and then the next day off was a travel day to get to the next location, so that's a big change.

"That's a nightmare for my manager, because that's bucks going down the drain. But, if my health and sanity is preserved - what's left of it - then it's good."
