Actress PATRICIA ARQUETTE will think twice about giving birth at home if she falls pregnant again after suffering in silence when she gave birth to baby HARLOW in 2003.
The Stigmata star, who turns 40 this year (Apr08), reveals the idea of a dream delivery at home quickly turned into a nightmare when carers started barking out instructions and doubling her pain problems.
She explains, "I didn't like them forcing me to be on my back to give birth with my son; I didn't like them putting IVs and other painful things in me, it was painful enough."
Arquette admits she went along with many of the delivery demands but stubbornly refused constant offers of painkillers.
She adds, "I didn't want any painkillers. I didn't want to be nauseous, I didn't want all those side effects."
Ironically, Arquette spoke of her pregnancy woes on Friday (11Jan08) - the same day Nicole Richie gave birth to her daughter, also called Harlow.
