Rapper KANYE WEST is set to headline English music festival Glastonbury, according to reports.
Last year's (07) bill was topped by legendary rockers The Who, who closed the final evening of the event - and rumours have abounded that The Verve, Kylie Minogue and newly-reformed rockers Led Zeppelin were in the frame to headline the legendary show.
But promoter Michael Eavis has hinted he is eschewing other artists to bring the Golddigger hitmaker to the Somerset stage.
He says, "I'm putting on a black American headliner who's absolutely terrific."
And Eavis adds he's keen to sign up Amy Winehouse to perform at the high-profile event: "I really, really need her."
This year's Glastonbury festival will take place on 27-29 June (08).
