The New Slang star is currently being held on $25,000 (GBP12,500) bail by Sacramento County, California police.

Crandall and Elyse Sewell, who has previously appeared on reality TV show America's Next Top Model, were both arrested following an incident at a Sacramento hotel. Sewell was released on Saturday (05Jan08).

The pair are due in court in the next week.

Sewell has posted photographs of her injured arm on her online blog, where she refers to Crandall as her "ex-boyfriend" and claims police have also charged her with a domestic violence offence.

She writes: "On the drive home from Albuquerque to Portland, my ex-boyfriend got s**tfaced (drunk) and roughed me up in a Sacramento hotel. I escaped from the room through a blitzkrieg of violence and talked to hotel security, who called the fuzz (police).

"Because he had a bite mark, inflicted in self-defence, on his arm, Marty told the police to press charges of domestic violence against me. Now I am a felon. I spent the night in jail."
