BYRNE: 'BEST THING ABOUT CHRISTMAS IS THE TV'

WESTLIFE singer NICKY BYRNE is aiming to spend the festive period in the comfort of his living room chair - watching an endless stream of classic movies on TV.

The Irish star's annual Christmas ritual is to take in film after film - an activity that can only be rivaled by the unwrapping of gifts.

He says, "The best thing about Christmas is all the presents and the films that are on the telly. All the movies that are on like Star Wars and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Home Alone, Superman, Back To the Future, Superman. I love all that."
