GLORIA ESTEFAN is a festive Grinch at Christmas - because she wants to ban presents.

The Latin singer insists the materialism of the holiday season has got out of hand - and children should be encouraged to learn what Christmas is really about.

Estefan says, "We should ban it (gift giving). It's the pressure. It's crazy. Out of control."
