ACTRESS KESNER-GRAVER DIES

Actress JILLIAN KESNER-GRAVER has died. She was 58.

Kesner-Graver was suffering from leukaemia but passed away from a staph infection at a hospital in Irvine, California on 5 December (07).

She is best known for starring in beloved U.S. sitcom Happy Days as the girlfriend of Henry Winkler's character Fonzie.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was credited onscreen as Jillian Kesner and starred in movies including Raw Force, Jaded and Firecracker.

Among her TV appearances were roles in The Rockford Files, Mork + Mindy and Three's Company.

Kesner-Graver's husband, cinematographer Gary Graver, died last year (06).
