FOX AMAZED COP LET HIM OFF FERRARI SPEEDING INCIDENT

Actor MICHAEL J. FOX only realised the power celebrities have when a police officer caught him driving down a crowded city street at 90 miles (145 kilometres) per hour - and let him off with a verbal warning.

The Back To The Future star was flabbergasted he wasn't taken to jail - or at least given a speeding ticket - when the incident occurred in Los Angeles many years ago.

He says, "I'm driving the Ferrari down Ventura Boulevard at 90 miles an hour and the cop goes, `Mike! C'mon, take it easy, you're gonna hurt somebody!'

"I remember sitting there after the cop walked away, going, `This is just seriously f**ked up. This is really crazy.'

"It's one of those moments when you realise that the only thing that's ever going to stop me from doing whatever I want to do is me - and I don't want the job."
