COWELL DENIES LOVE SPLIT RUMOURS

AMERICAN IDOL judge SIMON COWELL has denied reports he is to split with his longterm girlfriend TERRI SEYMOUR over his decision not to have children with her.

The 48-year-old has made it clear he doesn't want to start a family as his career is too important, and was shocked when Seymour recently announced she is considering ending their relationship over the matter.

But Cowell insists they aren't going to break up any time soon.

He says, "She knows the lifestyle I have with work. I can't see me slowing and I can't see it changing. I've not been given an ultimatum. I'm assuming it's a way off.

"I don't think it'll be happening next month. I don't know if she'll leave me. I think she's happy. We get on fine."

Cowell has also faced speculation about his possible infidelity after he sparked rumours of a romance with fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, when the pair was pictured holding hands in a taxi.
