DOHERTY'S AMERICAN DREAM STILL ALIVE DESPITE VISA DILEMMA
British rocker PETE DOHERTY is trying to prove to American politicians he's good for the economy - because it's the only way he can tour there.

The Babyshambles star's drug issues and legal woes mean getting a U.S. work visa is almost an impossibility - but he still thinks there is still a way to tour in America.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I think they can overlook certain things if you can prove that you're going to make the economy a few bucks."
Doherty's American dream includes taking in "the girls, the alcohol and the old-fashioned guitars."
