NYE'S EX APOLOGISES FOR POISONING PLANTS

The former fiance of U.S. TV star BILL NYE has apologised for poisoning plants in his garden.

Blair Tindall is seeking to have a requested restraining order against her lifted, according to legal documents filed on 14 November (07) and obtained by website The Smoking Gun.

Nye, also known as 'The Science Guy', sought the order to prevent Tindall from contacting him and from coming near his California home, after allegedly spotting his ex dressed in black and acting suspiciously near his property.

However, Tindall now claims she is "terribly sorry for what I did. I have never done anything like it, and never will again."

A hearing has been set for 20 December (07).
