LENNON SNUBBED STONE FOR ORAL HYGIENE

JULIAN LENNON snubbed a night with SHARON STONE - to visit the dentist.

The son of late Beatle star John Lennon was asked to perform at the actress' benefit event for AIDS charity AmFar, of which she is the global fundraising chairwoman, in Rome, Italy, last month (Oct07).

But Lennon admits he was forced to turn down the invite because of his teeth.

He says, "I was annoyed I missed that as it was a special request from Sharon Stone. But alas, oral hygiene comes first!"

Despite Lennon's no-show, Stone raised over $1.35 million (GBP675,000) at the event - even selling her own necklace to a partygoer for $50,000 (GBP25,000).
