SPICE GIRL MELANIE CHISHOLM has refuted claims the reformed girl group is behaving in a 'diva-like manner' ahead of their world tour.
Chisholm insists the band, whose tour kicks off in Vancouver, Canada on 2 December (07), has never succumbed to outlandish and demanding behaviour.
She says, "We've never been divas. We all work very hard and we know that we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for everybody who was involved in our project."
And Chisholm insists the girls' infamous monikers - Baby (Emma Bunton), Ginger (Geri Halliwell), Scary (Melanie Brown), Sporty (Chisholm) and Posh (Victoria Beckham) - still apply, six years after they disbanded in 2001.
She adds, "Mel B isn't as scary as she used to be. She's mellowed but is still very feisty. Ginger is a bit lighter, her hair is more golden. Baby is always going to be the Baby as she's the youngest. And Victoria is VERY posh."
