Hard-man actor RAY WINSTONE is determined to get his biopic on English poet WILLIAM BLAKE onto the big screen - even if he has to write the script himself.
The Sexy Beast star is desperate for work to begin on Jerusalem, but admits the difficulties of passing on his creative vision to others has forced him to rethink his remit as an actor.
He says, "I still want to do Jerusalem. It's just about getting the right script because it's a difficult story to tell. I've got an idea of how I want to do it and it's just relaying that to somebody else.
"I'm not a writer but maybe I'll end up writing it myself. Or I'll get someone, sit with them and talk it through. Hopefully, it will be done, but I'm getting a bit old to play it now."
