MCLAREN PULLS OUT OF JUNGLE SHOW
Former SEX PISTOLS manager MALCOLM MCLAREN has dramatically quit U.K. reality show I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE! - just hours before it goes on air on Sunday (11Nov07).
The eccentric ex-husband of designer Vivienne Westwood was due to take part in the series, which sees celebrities leave the luxury of their homes for a two-week stint in the Australian jungle.
But according to a spokesman, he has pulled out of participating in the show.
A representative for the series says, "He flew 5,000 miles (8,000 kilometres) to take part but on the day they were due to go into the jungle he changed his mind."
The show will go on with nine contestants instead of the usual 10.
