SCHWARZENEGGER TO GET TOUGH WITH FIRESTARTERS

Movie tough guy-turned-California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has told the arsonists who started two of the recent state wildfires to start running for cover - because he'll show no mercy when he tracks them down.

The Terminator star was furious when he discovered that at least two of the 18 fires that ravaged Southern California last month (Oct07) were man made.

And he's particularly interested in finding the owner of a white Ford pick-up truck who is being linked to one of the San Diego fires that drove people out of their homes and destroyed property.

He rages, "If I were one of those people who started the fire, I would not sleep soundly."

The California wildfires destroyed more than 1,400 homes and caused more than $1 billion in damage."
