FBI AGENTS DENY PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF O.J. SIMPSON RAID
FBI officials have hit back at reports federal agents knew all about O.J. SIMPSON's plans to raid a Las Vegas hotel suite and claim back memorabilia three weeks before the incident.

Collector Thomas Riccio, who led the former American footballer and his `friends' to memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley's hotel room on 12 September (07), claims he informed the FBI about Simpson's plans.
Riccio claims he told the agents that Simpson wanted to televise the operation.
But now FBI bosses insist they knew nothing about what Simpson has called "a sting operation" to retrieve items he maintains were stolen from him.
An official FBI statement reads, "The FBI in Los Angeles did not have prior knowledge of such criminal activity.
"In August 2007, Thomas Riccio was interviewed on an unrelated matter at the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office. During that interview, Mr. Riccio advised FBI agents that he and Mr. Simpson planned to confront a man allegedly in possession of property stolen from O.J. Simpson, and that he planned to film the confrontation.
"FBI agents advised Mr. Riccio to consult an attorney to determine the legality of his intentions."
