MCCARTNEY'S COUSIN BRANDS MILLS 'A LIAR'
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's cousin has slammed his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS for accusing the former BEATLE of failing to give enough to charity.
Mills, who split from McCartney in May 2006, told a U.S. interviewer on Thursday (01Nov07) of her amazement that McCartney didn't hand over more of his estimated $1 billion (GBP500 million) fortune to the needy.
She said: "I was passionate about the power that Paul had; he could have done more for charity. How could anybody have that kind of money and not do more for charity?"
But British comedienne Kate Robbins claims Mills' accusations are inaccurate, because the singer doesn't like to publicise his charity work.
She says, "She's a liar. If you knew how much he gives to different charities you would be gobsmacked."
