JOJO POKES FUN AT WILD POP PEERS IN NEW MOVIE

Singer JOJO is set to poke fun at her wildchild pop peers by playing a heavy-drinking young starlet in a new TV movie.

The teen sensation will play a struggling star in True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, which will air in 2008 on America's Lifetime network.

Former child star Valerie Bertinelli, who will play JoJo's mum in the film, says, "Here's this beautiful young starlet, who drinks too much and ends up in rehab. That's so unusual. Where did that come from?"
