HALLOWEEN HELL FOR TRAPPED 'N SYNC FANS

Pop star LANCE BASS terrified a group of young fans when he accidentally locked them in his Hollywood home one Halloween.

The former 'N Sync star had just moved to Los Angeles when the trick or treaters came calling - and he gave them CDs and memorabilia when he realised he had no candy.

Their delight quickly turned to dismay, however, when they realised they couldn't leave.

Bass explains, "I had one group of trick or treaters come and ring the bell and I didn't have anything for them, so I had all these CDs.

"Literally, 20 minutes later I get a knock on my door and they're like, `We've been trapped inside the gate for 20 minutes.' They were so scared to come back. They didn't know how to get out."
