STREEP TO STAR AS CELEBRITY CHEF CHILD

Oscar winner MERYL STREEP is set to cook up a storm with her latest movie role - as U.S. celebrity chef JULIA CHILD.

Streep will play the beloved cook alongside Amy Adams in upcoming film Julie + Julia.

Adams will play a frustrated woman who embarks on a year-long challenge to cook all 524 recipes in Child's book, Mastering The Art Of French Cooking.

Sleepless In Seattle filmmaker Nora Ephron will direct the movie from her own screenplay, based on Julie Powell's book Julie And Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen.
