WILLIAMS STUNS U.S. VIEWERS WITH FEIGNED LIFESTYLE

British singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS has stunned U.S. TV viewers after he announced he was in Los Angeles to take drugs and have homosexual relations.

The Angels star, 33, was captured on camera by TMZ.com, who were informed of Williams' apparently hedonistic lifestyle from the star himself - although it was soon clear Williams was just joking.

But the footage was shown uncensored on American TV before the 10pm watershed earlier this week (ends19Oct07) - accompanied by subtitles, allowing viewers to fully understand his words.

When asked by the camera crew what he was doing, Williams joked, "Yeah, wanking. Shooting heroin. What else have I been doing? Just being malicious. Bum sex."

And Williams appeared to be enjoying playing around with the camera crew.

A pal tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Robbie was just having a laugh. Hopefully Americans get his sense of humour and won't take any of the stuff he said seriously.

"He probably wasn't expecting the footage to be used on TV, especially at such an early hour and with subtitles. They seemed to find it hilarious on TMZ and everyone was laughing."
