BROWN TO GIVE HITS A CLASSICAL TWIST

STONE ROSES legend IAN BROWN will give his music a classical make-over by employing an orchestra to re-work his hits.

IAN BROWN

The singer released his fifth solo album The World Is Yours in September (2007) and wants to play a set of classical concerts that will give some of his most famous songs a new twist.

He says, "I'm planning some classical dates where I can do things like F.E.A.R. It already has some strings on it, but I'll get some other things re-scored as well."

The 44-year-old also has some novel ideas about costumes for the tour.

He adds, "I'll get all the orchestra in Adidas tracksuits and I'll wear a dickie bow and the suit."
