STYLIST DUKE BACK AFTER CANCER BATTLE

Celebrity stylemaker RANDOLPH DUKE has returned to the Los Angeles high fashion scene after secretly battling prostate cancer.

Randolph Duke launches his new book 'The Look: A Guide to Dressing from the Inside Out' held at Shag Hollywood, Hollywood, USA - 18.10.06

The once in-demand designer opened Los Angeles Fashion Week on Monday (15Oct07) after taking a break from the catwalk world to fight a health crisis.

He reveals, "I had cancer for two years... I had my prostate removed. With younger guys like me it's best to take it out because the chance of a recurrence is much, much less."

And he admits his cancer fight gave him the chance to take stock of his life and the crisis helped him curb his once-famous quick temper.

He adds, "You can always change, it's never too late."
