Reformed British girl group the SPICE GIRLS are set to follow in the footsteps of fellow pop stars TAKE THAT - by endorsing a leading British retail chain.
The band is reported to have signed a $10 million (GBP5 million) deal with supermarket giant Tesco, which will see Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell's upcoming reunion tour sponsored by the company.
The Spice Girls will also appear in two pre-Christmas adverts for the retailers, reports British newspaper The Guardian.
The group's decision comes after Take That were unveiled as the faces of retailing stalwart Marks + Spencer earlier this month (Oct07).
