Country star KENNY ROGERS has sent the England rugby team a rousing message of support ahead of their World Cup semi-final against France on Saturday (13Oct07).
The 69-year-old singing legend slipped on a team shirt to record a passionate video message, after discovering the team gets fired up before games by listening to his hit The Gambler.
Rogers ranted, "You wrecked the Aussies for life and I also understand they'll never get over it, so good on you for doing that.
"We've moved our sights from Australia to France. If you guys can't beat those French b**tards then it's a waste of time for all of us.
"One of the stations is carrying it out here and I'm going to be right there watching you guys.
"If you lose I must tell you I'm going to disown you. You will never hear from me again."
