DOHERTY PLANS ALCOHOL-FREE CONCERTS

British rocker PETE DOHERTY will tour alcohol-free venues to celebrate finally kicking his drug habit, according to reports.

The Babyshambles frontman has requested the venues he plays at the end of this month (Oct07) do not serve alcohol as he will be performing sober for the first time in five years.

Doherty - who claims not to have touched drugs in two months - will kick his booze-free tour off in a juice bar in London on 21 October.

A source tells British newspaper the Sun, "Pete came up with the new idea. He feels like a new man. It'll be a challenge for him to go on tour without drugs.

"Everyone expects him to fall back into it but he's confident he can keep in the straight and narrow."
