JAMELIA TO MARRY SOCCER STAR BOYFRIEND

British pop star JAMELIA is set to marry her on-off soccer star boyfriend - less than a month after she vowed never to date another sportsman.

The 26-year-old singer split from English soccer player Darren Byfield earlier this year (Aug07) but the couple rekindled their relationship last month (Sep07), with Jamelia accepting the sporting ace's proposal at his surprise birthday party on Sunday (07Oct07).

She says, "I'm completely over the moon. Darren proposing was a real surprise but I'm totally delighted. I can't stop smiling."

The couple had been dating for three years before the August split and have a two-year-old daughter, Tiani, together.
