LED ZEPPELIN FANS TO SUE

LED ZEPPELIN fans are threatening to sue a tour promoter over tickets for the band's reunion concert.

Harvey Goldsmith has threatened to cancel the concert at London's O2 Arena after ticket codes given to successful ballot entrants were sold on online auction eBay for up to $6,000 (GBP3,000).

But fans who have paid for the ticket codes believe they are unfairly losing out.

One American fan says, "Unfortunately this policy will hurt the fans who bought the codes not the seller who has already been paid."

But Goldsmith defends his decision.

He says, "If you think that you can beat the system by buying from eBay or any other website you are wrong, you will not be allowed in to the concert and your application for tickets will be cancelled within the next 14 days.

"I have no interest in supporting parasite businesses who prevent fans from supporting their artists by the increased price of the tickets and who ultimately put nothing whatsoever back into our business to support it."
